Vashon Hardware Restaurant - Iconic Vashon - 16”x20” - oil on canvas - 2024

I bought hardware and rented chainsaws in this restaurant back when it was an actual hardware store.  Who knew it would make such a great restaurant spot?  Melinda Powers did.  Her brilliance was in keeping the original name, and preserving the original look of the building as much as possible.  Melinda gave me my first art show at the gallery there, and was the first person ever to buy a painting from me.
