The iconic Rainier Brewery brick edifice with signature “R” was built in 1896. in 2000 Tully’s bought the building and replaced the “R” with a “T”. That created quite an uproar. In 2013 Tully’s sold the building and the “R” was replaced, eventhough it is no longer a brewery.
